Global growth strategy

Our advisors supported and counselled the board of TUI Hotels & Resorts through the development of the group’s future growth strategy.

At the time, TUI Hotels & Resorts was the hotel owning/operating division of the world’s largest tour operator. The rapid changes to distribution habits and the need for branding rationalisation where two of the factors pushing the needed changes. Our advisors worked together with the lodging division in to develop this future plan, including:

  • Reviewed the asset and brand portfolios and provided recommendations on how to ensure market coherence and proper market coverage
  • Identified new product offering necessary to address changing markets and changing risks in key markets such as North Africa
  • Developed, analysed and provided recommendations on various future growth options – each dependent on specific changes that were occurring (or expected to occur) within the greater TUI organisation
